Our Story
A warm welcome to Liberty Square! We are Elizabeth and Emma, a mother-and-daughter team and the faces behind our independent fashion boutique based at the beautiful Heskin Hall Shopping Village in Chorley.
Offering thoughtfully chosen ladies wear and accessories, our boutique is truly a family affair.
How It All Began
Elizabeth became the proud owner of Liberty Square back in 2013, with Emma joining the business three years later. Having previously taken early retirement from Boots the Chemist, taking over the boutique was a leap of faith that Elizabeth has never regretted:

With 60 years of combined retail experience between us—both having been trained under the high standards of Boots—we pride ourselves on offering an exceptional, personal experience for our customer base.
From our shop window, we can see the surrounding fields and animals, creating a unique, pretty destination that our lovely local customers enjoy just as much as we do.

Beyond offering beautiful, easy-to-wear clothing at an affordable price point, we have built Liberty Square around an ethically sourced and sustainable approach to fashion. Emma passionately sources all of our ethical products, and all of our packaging is 100% biodegradable.
